40 CE credit hours required every 2 years — 40 may be earned with Addiction Counselor CE.
Applies To:
- Minnesota Psychologists
Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for psychologists as required by the Minnesota Board of Psychology.
Please Note:
There has been some understandable confusion regarding the Mn Psychology Board’s acceptance of online CE credits. On 9/16/10 we communicated with the Board on this issue.
We have been informed that one hour of CE credit earned via an online course equals one CE credit.
Online course are not subject to Item F of Part 7200.3830(APPROVAL OF CONTINUING EDUCATION ACTIVITIES). The Board makes a distinction between online courses and “audio-visual or other home study courses.”
40 hours every 2 years at date of license received.
40 CE credits in the licensing renewal period may be online courses.
Addiction Counselor CE, a service of CE Learning Systems, is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. CE-credit.com maintains responsibility for this program and its content. No provider number is listed because the APA does not issue a provider number.
