Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for MFT’s, as set forth by the Texas Board of Examiners of Marriage & Family Therapists.

LMFT
A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) must complete 30 clock hours of continuing education relevant to Marriage and Family Therapy each renewal period. Hours may not be carried over from one renewal period to the next renewal period.

30 credit hours every 2 years by licensure expiration date (birthdate month).
12 CE credits in the licensing renewal period may be distant learning (online/homestudy) courses.
6 credit hours in ethics for each renewal period (3 hours each year).

LMFT Associate
A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFT Associate) must complete 15 clock hours of continuing education each renewal period. Hours may not be carried over from one renewal period to the next renewal period.

15 credit hours every 2 years by licensure expiration date (birthdate month).
12 CE credits in the licensing renewal period may be distant learning (online/homestudy) courses.
6 credit hours in ethics for each renewal period (3 hours each year).

As an approved provider of NBCC (#5951), ASWB (#1020), and other national accrediting organizations, our courses are available for your distant learning continuing education credits.
