This course is recommended for health care professionals, especially those who work with midlife women. It is appropriate for introductory to intermediate levels of participants' knowledge.

Course Objectives:

After taking this course, you should be able to:

  1. Explain the physiological changes that create menopause.
  2. Describe the differences between peri-menopausal, menopausal and post-menopausal stages.
  3. Apply this information about menopause to the experiences of their midlife female clients.
