About the Course:

The Iraq War Clinician Guide was developed by members of the National Center for PTSD and the Department of Defense. It was developed specifically for clinicians and addresses the unique needs of veterans of the Iraq War. Chapter 13 addresses issues involving the families of military personnel. Clinicians need to be aware of these issues when working with families of deployed soldiers in order to identify those families that may need additional services.

This course is based on the reading-based online, Iraq War Clinician Guide: The Impact of Deployment on the Military Family created by Waldrep, COL Douglas A., MC, USA; Cozza, COL Stephen J., MC, USA; and Chun, COL Ryo Dook, MC, USA in 2004.
