Treatment Drug Courts: Integrating Substance Abuse Treatment With Legal Case Processing provides clinicians, administrators, and policymakers with the information they need to plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate treatment drug courts. The number of programs that integrate drug treatment into the pretrial processing of criminal cases has grown exponentially in the last several years. This publication highlights the most successful of them and presents relevant information on financial, legal, and ethical issues. This course addresses the legal and ethical issues that can occur with the integration of substance abuse treatment and pretrial case processing. This course covers Chapter 8 only.
