This course is recommended for health care professionals, especially addiction counselors, psychologists, mental health counselors, and social workers who seek knowledge about time-limited group therapy. It is appropriate for an intermediate to advanced level of participants' knowledge.

Course Objectives:

After taking this course, you should be able to:

  1. Identify the appropriateness of group therapy as well as the group therapy approaches.
  2. Examine the different theories of group therapy.
  3. Describe the use of psychodrama techniques in a group setting, the eleven therapeutic factors of group therapy, and how to use the time-limited group therapy.
